This is an excellent way for a teacher to build a family atmosphere for their class. Having each student share about themselves in this way is sure to build friendships among the students that may not otherwise have happened.

My daughter loves this type of book, and she’s enjoyed it! The best thing about doing this when you are younger is when you are older its so fun to go back and read all the details about your life that you wrote down. My kids love hearing about themselves when they were young- with this book- they record it themselves!

My daughter saw this book at one of her school friends and asked for it - she loves answering questions about herself and letting her friends answer those questions, and she even let me write in it, I hope we're still friends when she's a teenager.

My daughter loves this book and had her whole class and favorite teachers sign it at the end of the school year last year. It now sits prominently on her dresser and is treasure to her. I love it to too as it shows just how much she and life has changed in such a short time. I’ll buy one again this year so she can repeat the process.
I bought this for my best friends daughter for Christmas. Earlier int he year she had moved from Colorado to Texas and was just making friends. When she got the book she was visiting Colorado for the holidays and was able to get many of her long time friends to fill out pages with memories. When she got back to Texas she was able to use this to break the ice with many of her new friends and learn more about them. As she gets older she will have a wonderful book commemorating memories with some of her best friends during a major transition in her life. She loves the book and had fun with her friends when they filled it out. As an adult I think back to my childhood years and think this would have been an amazing way to look back on those times when life was more care free. I would recommend this product to anyone with young ones looking to learn more about their friends and create another mechanism for their kids to cherish their childhood memories.

Richtig tolles Buch! Kann ich nur empfehlen. Da kommen eigene Kindheitserinnerungen hoch. Haben es schon mehrfach verschenkt und die Kinder haben sich so gefreut.

I love this book so much! I have used it in my Pre-K classroom to get to know my students better at the start of the year. Every child in my class has taken it home to fill out and during our ‘All about Me’ theme, we read it throughout the week. Then at the end of the school year, right before graduation, we reread it again! The children enjoy hearing about what the wrote at the beginning of the year and then we share what has changed since then. It’s a fun way to document and persevere memories of my former students.

This book is so fun for kids to get to know their friends! We also love the fact that they can continue to do it over the years and look back and see how they’ve changed. A great gift idea and way to help kids connect that is screen free! Love it for breaking the ice in small groups too.

Good morning, we love your books and I just bought two more for friends that are moving this summer! Our oldest daughter filled out two pages and then gave it to her best friends that are pcs-ing (military family here). The only thing I noticed is that many families use a school picture and end up gluing it in sideways so it fits. We cut ours to make it fit.

We had no idea of this concept but when we learned about this German tradition we were fully onboard! My son can't wait to pass this around during his birthday party. The book is so cute and I hope he holds onto it for a long time!

I have been using this book in my fourth grade classroom this year. Each week a student takes the book home and fills in their information, then on Monday mornings they get to share as we are doing our class meeting. The students have been really enjoying learning about each other this way. They also enjoy looking at the pictures their classmates have included with their information.
I plan to keep this going with each new class I have. Then students can look back and learn about the kids in the grade(s) above them. It's a fun and easy way for kids to see what they have in common with others, as well as information that's new to them! Very fun memory book!
